In skillet, heat oil, add the garlic and meat, chopping with a spatula until finely ground and then cook until brown.

Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, and seasonings.

Add wine, float bay leaves, stir, and then cover and simmer until slightly thickened.

Remove bay leaf from mixture.

In a square or rectangular baking dish, alternate layers of noodles, meat sauce, and two cheeses (see image) , so that you have at least two layers. End with cheese and sprinkle top with parmesan cheese.

Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.

Let the tray sit for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
Note
This is the perfect “care package" meal because it can be refrigerated, delivered and reheated with ease.
